How places are chosen

Every place covered here is somewhere Umut İlkaya has been. Guides are written after visiting, not compiled from other websites, and the photographs are his own. Places are covered because they were judged worth writing about — there is no payment for inclusion in a guide.

Hosted stays and collaborations

Umutdxb works commercially with hotels, resorts and tourism organisations through Sortie Media, producing photography, drone video and social content. Some stays covered on this site may have been hosted or arranged as part of that work.

Where a stay or experience was hosted, gifted or part of a paid collaboration, that is stated on the article itself. A commercial relationship never buys a positive write-up, and it does not change what the guide says about whether a place is worth your time.

Accuracy and what we do not claim

Details that change — opening hours, entry fees, ferry times, parking rules — are accurate as far as we know at the time of writing, and each guide carries a published and, where relevant, an updated date. Check the operator directly before travelling, particularly for anything requiring a booking or a permit.

Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, email hi@umutdxb.ae and it will be corrected. Substantive corrections update the article's modified date.

AI and generated content

Guides are written by a person who went to the places described. This site is not a feed of generated travel copy, and no article is published without a real visit behind it.
